K. Adam Long Artisan Furniture
K. Adam Long Artisan Furniture was born from hard work, heart, and a willingness to learn something new when it mattered most.
We’re a family-owned business, built by a husband and wife who first met in the emergency room—not as patients, but as caregivers. One a nurse, the other a paramedic. Long shifts, high-stress days, and a shared commitment to helping others brought us together. That same teamwork and resilience now shape everything we create.
What started as simple curiosity turned into a calling. Ken bought his first lathe with the goal of making a single wooden ornament—something meaningful, something made by hand. One ornament led to another, and then another. The feel of raw wood, the patience it demanded, and the satisfaction of shaping something lasting sparked a deeper passion for craftsmanship.
When the pandemic changed the world, it also changed our path. With time, determination, and a lot of trial and error, Ken taught himself how to weld. No formal training—just grit, research, and the belief that useful, well-made furniture should last a lifetime. Steel and wood came together, blending strength and warmth, form and function.
Every piece we build reflects who we are: practical, hardworking, and intentional. We value durability because we’ve seen firsthand how important reliability is. We value beauty because handmade pieces carry stories. And we value honesty—what you see is what you get.
K. Adam Long Artisan Furniture isn’t mass-produced. It’s crafted one piece at a time, in our shop, by our family, for yours.
